Logistics Procurement Officer

We are looking for an astute candidate to oversee our purchasing processes – Logistics Procurement Officer to be part of our inventory team based at our head office at 81 Amy Street, Toorak, Suva .

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

  • Keep track of overseas orders and logistics
  • Following and enforcing company’s procurement procedures.
  • Request for freight quotes and arrange bookings.
  • Track orders against payments.
  • Prepare local and overseas purchase orders.
  • Assist inventory team to monitor stock levels.
  • Assist with goods inward process.
  • Communicate with suppliers on logistics matters.
  • Compile reports to management.

 

Knowledge / Skills & Qualification:

  • A Diploma in Accounting or related field and have at least 2 years’ of work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Highly motivated and organised.
  • Well versed with custom clearance procedures.
