HR Assistant

GEM Fiji seeks to recruit a dynamic and result oriented person as HR Assistant in pur administration department based at our head office at 81 Amy Street, Toorak, Suva.

Position Responsibility:

  •  Prepare timesheet on weekly/monthly basis
  • Able to compile all HR data and prepare reports for supervisor
  • Maintain a proper filing system
  • Update staff records including leave management
  • Assist in OHS compliance  (employee health and safety procedures)
  • Assisting in on-boarding/ orientation and training programs
  • Other day-to-day clerical duties 

Knowledge/Skills & Qualification:

  • A Diploma in Human Resources equivalent and be well versed with employment relations regulations.
  • 1-2 year’s experience in a similar role
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently, meeting deadlines and adding value.
  •  Team player attitude with pleasant communication – “people-person” skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications especially Excel/Word
  • Knowledge of employment relations regulations including OHS, Grants & Levey Schemes.
