Network Technician

GEM Fiji seeks self-motivated and result oriented person to join our Central Team based at our Head Office, 81 Amy Street, Toorak, Suva

Successful applicants must possess the following:

Network Technician

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver Structured Cabling systems; CCTV Surveillance systems; Access Control systems including Time & Attendance; and PABX systems; including Wireless systems; IP Network systems, etc.
• Installing network cabling infrastructure such as patch panels, cables, and routers to support new or existing computer networks
• Troubleshooting network problems by identifying the cause of glitches and recommending solutions
• Creating and maintaining internal help documents on equipment serviced
• Maintain customer rapport by listening and resolving customer issues.
• Negotiate, manage and deliver customer services expectations.

Knowledge / Skills & Qualification:

• A diploma in IT Networking or similar field preferred.
• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Network Cabling and PBX Technician.
• Good Communication and Problem-solving skills
