Helpdesk Coordinator

GEM IT Solutions is a major Technology vendor in Fiji working with leading companies such as HP, SHARP, DELL EMC, VMWare, and Cisco to transform business operations. We are looking for a self-motivated person to join our team at Suva, as a Helpdesk Coordinator.

Position Responsibility:

  • First point of contact for all Customer Service enquires Be present and visible in the Help Desk and available to users requiring technical assistance.
  • Provide assistance to customers over the phone and through email and other messaging applications and escalate concerns of a complex nature to the Supervisor for advice and guidance.
  • Maintain log communications to keep a detailed record of all problems diagnosed and fixed and update customers through to completion of work, gather feedback from the Estates team in order to update issues accordingly.
  • Reporting to the Service Manager and work closely with other GEM IT personnel, Helpdesk Coordinator, Sales Associates, Project Managers, and others.

 

Knowledge / Skills & Qualification:                                                                              

An IT Diploma or equivalent along with Industry Certificate:  A+ will be an advantage.

  • Strong IT skills, analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Be a quick learner, and customer oriented.
  • A Clean and valid group 2 Driver’s License is essential.
  • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
