HR Assistant

GEM Fiji seeks to recruit dynamic and result oriented person for the positions HR Assistant in our Administration Department to be based at our Head Office, 81 Amy Street, Toorak, Suva. 

Position Responsibility,

  • Prepare timesheet on weekly/monthly basis
  • Able to compile all HR enquires and prepare reports for Supervisor
  • Maintain a proper ­Filing system
  • Update staff records including Leave Management
  • Assist in OHS compliance (employee health and safety procedures)
  • Assisting in hiring new employee and on-boarding /orientation and training programs
  • Other day-to-day clerical duties.

Knowledge / Skills & Qualification:

The applicants must Possess a Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent and be well versed with Employment Relations regulations, and have at least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently, meeting deadlines and adding value
  • Team player attitude with pleasant communication – “people-person” skills
  • Pro­ficient in Microsoft office applications especially Excel/Word

Knowledge of Employment relations regulations including OHS, Grants & Levey Scheme, Government Gazette,
