IT Support Engineer – Infrastructure

GEM IT Solutions is a major Technology vendor in Fiji working with leading companies and brands to transform business operations. We are looking for a self-motivated person to join our team at Suva, as an IT Support Engineer – Infrastructure

Position Responsibility:

  • Able to design, implement and support ICT solutions for GEM IT’s customers and in-house systems, as well as online and onsite project delivery and ongoing professional services, and may occasionally be required to travel out of Suva.
  • Attend to complex or critical customer issues and inquiries.
  • Conduct online and onsite professional services calls to gather customer specific requirements.
  • Lead the solution positioning and qualification Reporting to the Service Manager and work closely with other GEM IT personnel, Helpdesk Coordinator, Sales Associates, Project Managers, and others.
  • Assist with Pre-Sales to proactively sell and market infrastructure solutions, cloud and connectivity services to new and existing GEM IT customers

Knowledge / Skills & Qualification:                                                                              

An IT Degree or equivalent along with 3-5 years of experience. An Industry Certificate:  A+ will be an advantage.

  • Strong IT skills, analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Be a quick learner, and customer oriented.
  • A Clean and valid group 2 Driver’s License is essential.

Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
