About the Role:
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join our IT team as a Trainee Support Engineer – Infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone looking to start or grow their career in IT, with hands-on training and mentoring provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Provide first-level troubleshooting and escalate issues where necessary.
• Support infrastructure maintenance.
• Assist in system upgrades, patching, and monitoring tasks.
• Learn and apply IT best practices in security, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Maintain documentation of IT processes and incidents.
• Work alongside senior engineers on infrastructure-related projects.

Skills & Knowledge (preferred but not mandatory):

• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft.
• Understanding of networking concepts.
• Familiarity with hardware components (PCs, laptops, servers, printers).
• Interest in cloud platforms and virtualization technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or currently pursuing).
• Relevant certifications will be an advantage.
• Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in IT support roles.
