About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused IT Tech Support to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance, maintain IT systems, and ensure smooth daily operations for end-users across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • act as the first level escalation point for complex or critical customer issues and inquiries.
  • Support Specialists to provide end-user support; providing high-quality corrective and preventative maintenance on HP, Sharp, DELL and other products and solutions supported by GEM IT
  • Reporting to the Service Manager and work closely with other GEM IT personnel, Helpdesk Coordinator, Sales Associates, Project Managers, and others.

 

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong technical skills, analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Be a quick learner, and customer oriented. 
  • A Clean and valid group 2 Driver’s License is essential.
  • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

 

Qualification & Experience

  • Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • IT certifications will be an advantage.
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in IT support or similar role
