IT Support Engineer

GEM IT Solutions is a major Technology vendor in Fiji working with leading companies and brands to transform business operations. We are looking for a highly organised and self-motivated individual to join our team at Suva, as an IT Support Engineer – Infrastructure

Position Responsibility:

  • Able to design, implement and support ICT solutions for GEM IT business customers.
  • Ability to demonstrate project management skills in leading, structuring, designing and deploying technology solutions.
  • Role includes offering Level 2 and Level 3 technical support across a range of customer environments.
  • Service Delivery expertise both onsite and remotely
  • Should have good working experience on both on-premise and cloud solutions (SaaS, and IaaS).
  • Able to adopt and invent the will to work with 3rd Party hardware, software solutions.
  • Target focused toward revenue generation and industry certification example ITIL, Microsoft and other Industry Platforms.
  • Timely reporting to stakeholders (Line Manager and Customers)

 

Knowledge / Skills & Qualification:                                                                              

An IT Degree or equivalent along with 3-5 years of experience with active Industry Certification

 

  • At least 3 to 5 Year Experience in similar role
  • University IT Degree
  • Active Industry Certification
  • Excellent communication & customer service focus
  • Able to deliver IT Training will be an advantage
  • Added advantage if the candidate has deployed projects which are AI focused.
