Technicians

We @ GEM IT Solutions are currently expanding our current Team of Technicians; thus, we are looking for highly skilled and self -motivated and result oriented persons for our Suva & Nadi Service Centre. 

Telecommunications (Network) Technicians (Suva / Nadi).

Position Responsibility:

• Run, pull, splice, and terminate cables as necessary to establish both voice and data networks;
• Install and Configure CCTV Surveillance systems; Access Control systems including Time & Attendance; and PABX systems; Wireless systems and IP Network systems.
• Lead projects, supervise CNSS Team and quality assurance
• Maintain customer rapport by listening and resolving customer issues.
• Industry certificate will be an advantage.

Knowledge / Skills & Qualification:

• Must have completed high school. A diploma in IT Networking or similar field preferred.
• At least 2-3 years hands-on network engineering experience – Network Cabling and PABX Technician.
• A Clean and Valid Group 2 Driving Licence is mandatory
