Audit Clerk

We are looking for a diligent and result oriented individual to join our team as an Internal Audit Clerk to be based at our head office at 81 Amy Street, Toorak, Suva

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and compliance. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify sales transactions, (sales data and reports) on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with inventory management, pricing updates, and other related tasks.
  • Prepare and distribute reports to relevant stakeholders, including management
  • Perform internal audits of business operations, processes, and functions to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Review financial statements, accounting records, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

 

Knowledge / Skills & Qualification:

  • Must have completed high school and tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance is desirable
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as an audit assistant in a similar industry
  • In-depth knowledge of financial policies, procedures and systems.
  • Ability to work in a team, under pressure and with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Be a Team player and a quick learner
