Human Resources Officer

We are looking for an experience and self-motivated person to join our growing team as a Human Resources Officer to be based at our head office at 81 Amy Street, Toorak, Suva.                 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Conducting quarterly surveys on each Line of Business operations:
    • Review current “Standard Operating Procedures” (SoP’s) and suggest areas of improvement.
    • Review Job descriptions in line with changes to operational needs.
  • Assist in Staff learning and development /up skilling and certifications.
    • Facilitate staff performance review including -salary/ pay rate reviews
  • Assist in developing clear policies and crating policy awareness.
  • Assist in payroll process as and required
  • Assisting in hiring and on-boarding /orientation of new staff.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

 

Knowledge / Skills & Qualification:

  • A Diploma in Human Resource / Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ of working experience as a HR Officer in a Wholesale / Retail industry
  • Independent,
  • Basic knowledge of Employment Relations Act, HASAWA, and other relevant Laws of Fiji; HR policies, procedures and systems.
